Music Performance
EnVigur International, Ltd. is currently focused on providing professional logistic services for individual musicians, singers and jazz groups (up to 18 persons) interested in performance at major music festivals, concerts and venues throughout the world.
Our services include travel arrangements, accommodation, dining etc. We also offer these services to local jazz aficionados wishing to travel as a group to attend jazz performances.
During 2006 we travelled to 11 major jazz festival sites throughout Norway, met with festival producers and promoted recorded music of Nashville area’s jazz musicians to determine festival interest.
Contacts were established for invitations to perform and contacts for all logistics including accommodations, transportation and non-festival activities. Offers to cover jazz artists’ travel expenses from the US to Norway were not forthcoming. Contracts to perform are awarded by festival producers as much as one year in advance.
During 2009 we will travel again to Europe plus Canada with a similar mission to meet jazz festival producers and promote Nashville’s professional jazz musicians and singers. Meetings will also be held with producers of jazz radio to determine interest in giving airplay to Nashville artists’ latest recorded work. The promotional tour will include major cities in the UK, France, Spain, Switzerland and Canada.
We are also exploring opportunities for local area, university jazz orchestras and jazz groups comprised of the most accomplished music-studies students to perform overseas in a college jazz-musician exchange program. Application for a university grant may be necessary to defray costs for travel from the US and lodging. EnVigur International, Ltd. will offer the same services as for professional musicians.
We continue to attend the best live-jazz performances around the world at music festivals, concert halls and other jazz venues in a search for international opportunities for Nashville areas’ jazz musicians and singers. At a future date we plan to extend our offering to classical musicians and their supporters.
